Mock n' Droll
The Underquakers Tote Bag
The Underquakers virtually invented the category of death metal pacifism. Their signature style relies heavily on distortion and palm picking, tremolo muting and ear-bleeding. Lyrically, the band examines timeless themes such as religion, nature, Chris Elliott films, and haiku. The Underquakers formed in 1981 following a chance meeting of lead singer Harold “Shaky” Ground and bass soloist Morbid Morgan in line at Kelly’s Roast Beef in the band’s home town of Revere, MA.
