Stigmocha Drawstring

Inspired by the words “Awake! Awake!” (Isaiah 51:9), Stigmocha, was founded in1999 in Orange County, CA by Zephaniah ’King’ James, son of Gedaliah and Karen. The band first came together at by the Lakewood Park Bible Camp during a heated debate over the hidden meanings of the Book of Jimi. Known for ‘putting the judgement in Judgement Day,” Stigmocha’s live show histrionics include tossing bibles into the audience and then hosting the on-stage resurrection for those fans who have been saved and/or concussed. The band is rounded out by Rosary Beede, daughter of Abdiah and Karen, on acoustic guitar; Apricot Christ, son of God and Karen, on accordion and vocals; and Ollie O’Grady, son of Zephaniah and Karen, on percussion. Their hit (No) Sympathy for the Devil was nearly ranked by Orange County Christian Metal Magazine’s Great/Vulgate list.
